Worship and Classes
Shabbat Service
Saturdays at 11:00 AM
On the first Sabbath of each month, we conduct a fully liturgical Torah service. The other Sabbath services during the month are less liturgical. After every service, we have a time of Oneg Shabbat (Delighting in the Sabbath) in the oneg center, where we have a congregational pot-luck meal and fellowship together. Come worship, nosh (eat), and schmooze (fellowship) with us!
Sabbath services are complete worship services. Each includes a Torah service with reading from the Torah portion, Haftarah and Messianic Writings, Messianic praise and worship, prayer, a member's d'rash (brief exposition of the Torah portion), blessing of the children, and D'var Torah (Sabbath message). After every service, we have a time of Oneg Shabbat (Delighting in the Sabbath) in the oneg center, where we have a congregational pot-luck meal and fellowship together. Come worship, nosh (eat), and schmooze (fellowship) with us! All services and classes are held at the synagogue, which is located at 1425 ABC East Jackson Street, Thomasville, Georgia.
